Michelle Morgan

A keen collaborator and experienced leader, Michelle looks forward to working with stakeholders and partners of Cymru Women’s Sport to help grow access to and the enjoyment of sport for women and girls in Wales.

Michelle has over 25 years’ experience driving organisational growth in the private sector, professional sports and not-for-profit organisations across Australia, the Asia Pacific and in Europe. 

Throughout her career, she has lead marketing and communications activity with global sports architects Populous, Australia’s premier football code, the AFL, as well as for major community events and youth organisations.

Her belief in the power of sport to strengthen communities and transform lives is based on a lifetime involved as a player, administrator, parent and fan. Michelle is a proud member and mentor of Australia’s Minerva Network supporting female Paralympians and Olympians. She is also an Ambassador of AFL Europe, previously serving on the board
